Our History

EXEL history dates back to 1925 with the introduction of the first French-made airspray gun from KREMLIN.  SAMES was founded in 1947 and REXSON in 1954.  EXEL expanded into North America in 1978.

Our Infrastructure

EXEL North America consists of nearly 100 employees with offices in Scarborough, Ontario; Livonia, Michigan; and Monterrey, Mexico.  We have two distinct sales and service teams for our Wood & General markets and our Tier 1 & Automotive markets.

Our Livonia facility of approximately 50,000 square feet houses our demonstration and training labs, product development, engineering, inventory, assembly/repair and customer service departments.  We also have a demonstration lab, assembly/repair, inventory and customer service departments in our Scarborough office.  Our Monterrey facility handles inventory, repair and customer service.
